  1. hi Charles,were you sincere about wanting to become a Muslim in the first place? Ive studied human development and all the evidence is there in front of your eyes. there is less respect for humanity starting from within the family. Evidence of increased disrespect for parents, increase of crime on a worldwide scale. Depression is also a sign, the more God's rules are disobeyed you will notice that the depression rate increases. The rate of abortion is on the increase as well as illnesses. I converted to Islam in 1995 and disagree with what you are now saying. looking at your latest video i notice your the noor that appeared on your face is leaving you. do you really think the Muslims would kill you for what you have done? i went to a lecture and the a brother was praying for you. in the Quran it says the sun will on day rise from the west and science today has said the same – how could a man in the middle of Arabia 1400+ years ago predict such a thing? did you meet many converts whilst you were a Muslim, like Bilal Philips, Dawud Wharnsby Ali etc..? Why did you hold off getting married?
    these are not questions for me, but more for yourself ……

  2. I met Bilal Philips in the UAE. I was there when he got kicked out and when they were asking for donations for him in the mosque I was praying Jummah at. I studied Islam at an Islamic Center in Jeddah and in Cairo. I didn't hold off getting married, I tried my best.

    Don't worry about my Nur reducing, it's just your imagination :)

    I think you are being sincere and i respect that immensely. I do say i find it a bit unnerving however that your logic based approach of Islam has influenced a post colonial wahhabist interpretation of your understanding of it. Your seem to be clearly lacking in Asbaabannuzul, the science of understanding the context of each verse of the quran, the situation surrounding its revelation, its reasons and context, and even in this vid have made some misquotes and misapplications….just my thoughts!!!     hi charles, i was doing some research on you and realise that you are from new zealand. sorry, i was fascinated by your effort in learning islam, but then i understand you did all this because of symphathy for the muslims?

  6. charles, when it comes to faith your first intention should be solely to find a relationship between you and the one who created you. although you seem to be a very generous person islam does not require simphathy. you should know that.. another thing, charles in every aspect, whether faith or else, you will find the extreme ones. again from research, i understand that you have met the extreme so called muslims, who believe that islam commands them to fulfill certain violence wihtout understand islam. i feel sorry for them as they are only creating enemies for themselves even within other muslims. charles, please understand that islam is not a religion that requires people to advertise, it is a way of life that is only understood by those who truelly want to accept the truth, however in order for this to be possible, you need to be a person who can judge between idiology and prove. i must admite you can read the arabic better than me who was raised in an islamic environment. whatever step you take, let it be one that you have certainly done a good deal of research.

    I made a series of videos about how I became a Muslim, they can be found through "Pages" in the far right sidebar. Only problem is they are 56min long in total!!!
