Bilal Philips: Suicide Bombing Israeli Civilians, Work With United States Military, Work For United States University

Mistakes:

The Islamic Center Bilal started in Dubai is now called “Discover Islam” which is what I knew it as at the time (I had the old name right though)

The youth camp was not in Auckland, it left from there

I heard he was made to leave KSA, not “asked to leave”

I should have mentioned that his being told to leave KSA due to “some misunderstanding” was what I heard at the time from people close to him or directly from him

According to this lecture of Bilal’s:

Bilal was born “Dennis Philips” in 1972

Bilal received a BA in Islamic Studies from The Islamic University of al-Madinah al-Munawarah

Bilal received a MA in Islamic Theology from King Saud University in Ryad

Bilal received his PHD on exorcism in Islam at the University of Whales

Bilal’s parents converted to Islam in 1994, they had been working in KSA, and this happened after Bilal was made to leave KSA (it having occured after his expulsion is information that I heard from him or from people close to him in UAE, not from the video)

Here is Bilal talking on Sharjah TV in 2000 about his support for suicide bombings against Israelis (date according to info available on original video I found):

Here is Bilal (Australia, 1997) talking about his work with the United States Military in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and the United States; including preaching to the troops. The clip also includes a description of his activities in the United Arab Emirates:

Here is Bilal (Australia, 1997) talking about his “conversion” from being a militant Communist (he apparently approached the Chinese embassy in Toronto and applied to learn urban gorilla warfare) to a Muslim:

Here’s a short biography of Bilal and an informative post detailing some of his views

Here’s Bilal’s online university and website

This is the mobile number I had for Bilal in UAE: 050 6264139

I can’t remember how I know but Bilal started the Jaliaat dawa offices in KSA. I studied at one that was connected with Lashkar Taiba in Jeddah and will provide details in due course. Apparently the centers started when he and a Sheikh in Ryad started giving dawa to ex-patriot workers and it spread from there.

Here is Bilal (Australia, 1997) telling some detailed stories about his work with, and preaching to, United States troops:
